I was shocked to see the news of Jim's passing on my homepage. I so enjoyed watching Jim Garner. One of my favorite movies with Jim is Murphy's Romance.

There are many elements: wind, fire, water
But none quite like the element of surprise

Very sad, just adored him in The Notebook. Rockford still airs every weekday on ME TV.

Yes, he was so good in the Notebook. I enjoyed the performances of Jim Garner and Gena Rowlands better than the young actors that told the story of the characters early life. That one is a tearjerker.
