Can it really have been 15 years ago? It seems like just yesterday. When I see footage or pictures of him and his wife....it is still just so hard to believe they are gone. What beautiful people with such promise.......so sad....

Wow. That long. I always kinda had a crush on him. I was so sad and kept hoping and hoping they'd find them alive.

I don't think Jr would have gotten too far in politics had he lived. I also believe he was responsible for the plane crash.

He was about 3 when JFK died in 1963 . . .so I'd guess about 39 or 40 depending on his birthday.

Sadly, when you try to perform tasks above your skill level, sometimes there are catastrophic results..In this case, he took 2 innocent women with him..

Thanks, Qwacker, that sounds right....he was a very nice looking man....and Sydney, I think it probably was his inexperience that caused the crash....

I believe I heard the news say today he only had 300 hours flying experience . .. it was overcast . . . and then night set in quickly. Not good. But then one was late, maybe Carolyn the wife, and caused their delayed departure. Should have waited until morning. Coulda. Woulda. Shoulda.
