Very public marriage proposals

What do you think of them? I was watching a video of some that went wrong, the girl ran away, poor guys, but why did they have to surprise her in public? It seems like it should be a private thing to me....your thoughts?

Depends on how comfortable the participants are with PDAs.

They are embarrassing I think. And often go very wrong.

My one son just got engaged at Disney World during the fireworks. He had the ring since September but waited until their vacation in March. They both love Disney World so for them it was perfect.

I find them amusing, but I've never seen one where the asker was turned down. So, I hope the person doing the asking knows his/her beloved well enough to already know they'll get accepted. Otherwise, it must be a very humiliating experience!{#emotions_dlg.blush}

I think some of them are creative and romantic as long as you KNOW the answer will be yes. If you aren't sure, you better keep it private. LOL

I think they're hokey, cheesy, and, a ploy to get their 15.
