I missed the series when it was on TV, but recently I have discovered the books. I've read about four of them, but they've been out of chronological order.

For those who have seen it, is it worth ordering to see the previously aired episodes?

By ordering do you mean from the library? I'd say yes.

Tashy,

I'd probably have to do Netflix. I don't know if my library carries it on DVD.

I just checked. They do, but it looks like multiple discs per season. So I have to place a hold for Season 1, Disc 1, then Disc 2, Disc 3, Disc 4, etc. This could take me all summer, LOL!

Tashy sounds kind of tarty--lol. It was a very good series.

I've seen every episode from Netflix and I highly recommend it.

Yes. The earlier seasons were the best, in my opinion.

I really liked that show, and my library has the series. But I kept it on t.v. and recorded it. Some of the side-characters I didn't care so much for, but loved Dexter and Deborah. It was really good!

Yes, I watched from its premier years ago and Always loved it. Read the books too, I like the show more -- one of the few times I thought tv/movie was better than the book(s). Hall is even better here than in six feet under.
