That would be best answered by my wife/family members and friends. All I will say about myself is that there are a lot of variables in your question and how I react depends on each individual situation.

I'm an excellent listener and usually it works against the person doing the talking as they generally forget what they've just said especially when they're bloviating like an ignorant fool. One can win many arguments by being an excellent listener and I have.

Both. Im a good listener. But if someone has a problem and comes to me and doesn't know what to do and they are asking, they will get my advice too. They may not like the advice but Im a straight shooter (in a nice way, not mean or anything).

I am a much better listener than a talker. I am also skilled and de-escalating a conversation that gets out of hand. I am loyal to anyone that confides in me and I would never betray a confidence.

When I was growing up this is something my father was very insistent about, being a good listener. He would say that listening is so important because you learn more when you listen than when you talk and it is true. He said you have two ears and one mouth so listen at least twice as much. He was very right.

I can do both. It depends on who the conversation is with.
