Yes, mine changed on Friday. I went to lunch and when I returned it was completely different. I don't care for it. It's hard to sort out. This is a continuation of the "new look" of Yahoo.

Mine doesn't look any different. It changed a couple of months ago, but nothing new since. I wonder why they roll these things out gradually, to some people but not others?

Yep, mine changed this morning too. The entire "My Yahoo" page is due to change completely soon. I hate it when that happens. They should give you the choice of keeping the old way or change to the new way. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

to revert back to basic,

click the email options in the upper right corner to the left of your name. click on it and a drop down menu will show. click on settings and once there click on viewing email. on the bottom you will see mail version. check basic and then hit save.

This will not change the look of the inbox. Checked a few forums and to my understanding you can't change it back.

Several months ago when i would log into my mailbox, I would be asked to change to the new format. Most of the time I would decline but one day I said what the heck and I've been using it ever since. It's not so bad once you get used to it.

Thank you so very much, it worked for me. At almost 80 yrs old it is rather hard to figure out some things that are electronic.

This doesn't work for me, as there is no "settings" on my drop down menu. It says mail options, but there is no place for viewing email that will allow me to change it back to classic yahoo.

gig,

it was in the upper right hand corner, to the right of your username when you're inside your email, not on the yahoo home page.

Than you! The wording was a little diff than what you initially wrote (don't know why?). but right now it's back to "basic". Hope it stays that way!

The 'new' mail has some advantages, but that scroll bar stinks. It needs to be wider. All things considered, if I'd wanted Gmail, I'd use Gmail...

Mine changed today also and I don't like it. I tried to forward an e-mail to a few friends and after I typed in the first name, the top of my new message disappeared and I was at the bottom of the original message. After that happened the new message showed up in the Draft section.

Get "failure notices" every time I try to re-read e-mails. Not too savy with this computer stuff so it is very frustrating to deal with changes and now glitches with Yahoo---more like "Boo hoo"

OMG it's a mess! They're trying to be like gmail, which I HATE and refuse to use. I switched back to "basic" but it's nowhere near what it used to be. I'm also getting a lot of failure notices, and people are just now receiving mail I sent DAYS ago. I think it's finally time to dump it once and for all and use something else.
