I'm just wondering because I've always bought and loved corned beef hash from the can. You know, it looks like minced up red beef with little cubes of potatoes in it, and you fry it on the stove top. Is that the same as corned beef? And why does everyone always mention corned beef and cabage around St. Patrick's Day?
