CLINTON COUNTY (WJRT) -
(12/15/2012) - As horrifying as the massacre in Connecticut is, it's not the deadliest mass school killings in U-S history.
The Bath School Disaster of 1927 is still the deadliest school tragedy in U-S history.
Bath is located just 50-miles west of Flint.
On the morning of May 18th 1927, a disgruntled school board member blew up a Bath school.
Today we spoke with an Arnie Bernstein, the Author of Bath Massacre: America's First School Bombing.
He says " I found was in the face of absolute horror, and this horror and terrorism in a sense out the that comes immense good there comes people as we are seeing all over the world are responding to this and are united in the people in Connecticut and that is how it has been in bath"
In Bath 38 elementary school students, two teachers and four other people including the bomber were killed, while 58-others were injured.
