Iowa School for the Deaf

My friend's daughter will be going to the Iowa School for the Deaf -- to take a class in January. We live in southern California. She's in a local college now - and she will be a sign-language teacher, specializing in the Bible for deaf students. Are any of you familiar with this school? She's doing fund-raising to help her pay for this class.
