Does anyone have a gel memory foam topper and if you do are they any cooler then just plan memory foam?

we have a pedicsolutions memory foam topper we bought from qvc husband really likes it for his back pain but it's still a little too warm for me I see pedicsolutions has a gel memory foam topper I read on the Internet gel memory foam toppers are a little cooler and we thought about trying it but I'm just not sure.

I appreciate any feedback the pros & cons if you have a gel memory foam topper.

We do have a mattress pad on top of the memory foam.

OP, I'd like to know as well, hopefully you'll get more responses....there were no reviews for the product.

There are cooling matress pads but they aren't cheap. I recently bought an iComfort mattress and it isn't as hot as the memory foam pad I was using.

I've seen those cooling mattress pads and your right they are not cheap {#emotions_dlg.scared} I told my husband about them he said a mattress pad is a mattress pad I'm sure they are all the same. I would try one if he would not complain about the price. He said a gel mattress topper would last longer then a mattress pad.

CuddlEwe on top of gel pad. I am so fussy DH refers to me as "The Princess and the Pea". After many many sleepless years, we now have a13" foam mattress with a 4" gel topper and the CuddlEwe. I have fibro and severe allergies and this is the best combo EVER! I now consider myself a reasonably good sleeper after years of 4 hours or less a night for many years.

No gel here, but we have the pedic solutions thick foam topper from Q and it zips in a cover in 2 sections. Im usually hot on a daily basis,,lol, (not in bed), but this foam does not bother me at all.

I taped one of Suzanne Somers' shows the other day, and one of her guests went on about how "toxic" memory foam is as opposed to natural latex. I'd never heard of that before.

Husband loves the memory foam he has back problems and scoliosis of the spine it has really helped his back and it is comfortable it's just a little too warm for me. I was hoping I read some reviews on the board before we bought a gel memory foam topper.

I had a both a gel topper which led us to get a gel memory total mattress.

I do use a mattress pad and both DH and I have had no problem with heat. I still get hot flashes (medication I take). We have no problem with either the gel topper or the gel mattress with the heat issue. I know I was concerned when we purchased the whole gel memory foam mattress, with no problem. Have had this gel mattress for over a year now.
