I know she married several years ago after she left QVC, but who did she marry?

She married a retired CEO named Steve Taub. They have a great life and she is "grandma" to his grandkids. She is very happy.

I'm almost positive that Kathy said her husband Steve was a pilot whom she met through a personal ad. She seems very happy and I am thrilled for her. Saw her today with Mary Beth and it made me long for the good old Q days. She has such a pleasant voice, is very knowledgable and has a great store of information to draw from. Above all, she always seemed sincere and honest to me and genuinely enjoyed talking to the callers. I will always remember once an elderly woman said she had purchased a Denim and Co t shirt and was going to wear it to her grandchild's wedding! Kathy very tactfully explained that this particular shirt was more for lounging and errand running and suggested something else. A real pro in my opinion.

Yes, and he's a recreational pilot. They live south of West Chester.

Awhile back someone linked to an interesting article in a PA paper about Kathy and Steve. [this was about the time, she took the position as a consultant for HSN]. The couple weren't 'looking for love', but it happened, and they're very happy.

I am so happy for Kathy and Steve, and that they found each other. She seems so happy and it comes across very clearly in her presentations. It even affected Mary Beth today. She is a very talented woman and really enjoys what she is doing.

Kathy was on QVC when I first started watching..... Always enjoyed her when she was on. Especially when she was presenting Diamonique.

Believe when Lisa R. started doing jewelery, that was right after Kathy left. What a difference in people.

No one could take Kathy's place....like no one will be able to take Lisa Mason's place.

I just wish Kathy and her husband well.

She was the consummate QVC host, IMHO! When she was on, I used to watch a lot - she was funny, witty, knowledgeable, personable, and really kept things going. She had a self-effacing humor, too. She was very professional, but didn't appear to take herself too seriously.

My question is why do you need to know ? Will it have a personal affect on you ?

Or is this general nosiness ?

Can't the woman have a private life ?

Geez someone was only asking about who she married, not her address, phone number, etc. She is after all a public figure on TV. The OP was no being "nosy" but just interested in probably one of her favorite former hosts on QVC.

I thought Kathy was terrific and missed her when she left. Those were the good old days of QVC.

Well, Blackbeltshopper1.... My question to you is why did you post this mean and spiteful rambling?? Did it have a personal affect on you?? Can't the person who made the original post have a question, without having some nonsense like yours posted??? Seems to me like you're the nosy one...

as others have said, Kathy is one of the nicest, down-to-earth hosts they have ever had. very professional, a super-duper sense of humor, really knowing her products and all around, a person who i'd love to have in my circle of friends. i can only imagine what she will be like as "grandma Kathy" horsing around with the kids, in case they are still smallish, but will be a woman of importance to those that are adults.

i for one was very sad when she left, used to watch her shows, just for the heck of it, as it was fun, and always something new. still miss her, as she was never replaced as she is just one of a kind. i am very happy for her that she found a mate, who apparently treats her well and loves her. well deserved.

I was lucky enough to meet her just before she left the Q, came ot the studio to be in the audience. She looked beautiful that day, and was as friendly as can be. She even signed both of my books she had written for me. I told her if her new supposed talk show did not take off, I knew I would be seeing her on HSN, she said no, guess which one of us was right?

Her first husband was a wonderful man named Jay Levine. I got the impression that they divorced because she wanted to focus on her career and he wanted a family. I guess she has reached the stage in life where family is also important.

Yes, Jay did have a family with his second wife, unfortunately he passed away a few years later. Kathy had nursed him through Hodgkins Disease, but he then died from a heart attack.

Read Kathy's autobiography. You might be surprised who she lived with for almost 5 years.
