The View jumped the shark years ago!!

The show is totally unwatchable. I have no idea how it manages to stay on the air.

AC, "jumped the shark" comes from an old episode of Happy Days where they had Fonzie literally jumping a shark on water skis. Its come to mean desperation programming when a show has totally run out of things to say.

I don't watch it anymore either and haven't for years. There are times when Dr. Oz ends and the tv is still on to ABC and the View comes on---and all they talk about is s--x and also Whoopie annoys me

I can't turn it fast enough

I think the opposite is true. It is always a much better show when Barbara is away.
