I own one, which I like, but it eats AA batteries like crazy. They only last about a month when left in timer mode. Candle Impressions candles are of better quality, in my opinion. The batteries last longer in these candles, which could possibly be because the pillar candles use C or D batteries. I own quite a few of these. Both brands have programmable candles. They both work well and are easy to set the timers. Have had no problems either. mom of 71274359512.6532007 PostsRegistered 4/10/2010 I like Candle Impressions better. I have a Home Reflections candle and after awhile, the timer quit working. mallemo1274370219.2737907 PostsRegistered 7/1/2007Minnesota I don't own any of the HR line. They do have one swirled hurricane that I would like to try but probably waiting until the Easy Pay Anniversary. I have lots of CI and love all of them. tmarie1274374047.467118 PostsRegistered 2/15/2007 thanks for the feedback, it gives me a better idea of which brand might work better for me. smile.....there are no coincidences Texas Barbie1274374467.9133508 PostsRegistered 12/7/2006Spring, Texas Candle Impressions is better by a country mile! Candle Impressions I must have 25 or 30 Candle Impressions candles from QVC. Love them in the bathroom especially when I'm taking a bubble bath. QVC is the only place that has a variety of the decorated candles. You can find the plain ones elsewhere, at a higher price. I love that you can get a beautiful candle and know it will continue to look as nice as the day you got it because it doesn't melt. I got a Home Reflections Candle for a friend's birthday and she likes it. Easy to tell CI is much better quality. I love all the candles CI comes out with for the holiday season. No choice for me CI=yes HR=no. I've gone online and found CI candles elsewhere that QVC doesn't have like tea lights. QVC may have the tea lights now. My current favorite is the rectangular one with the cherry blossoms on it. I love cherry blossoms and can now have them all year round. Also love the tall one with the sunflowers. circles1276286233.8914004 PostsRegistered 5/11/2005N.J. On 5/20/2010 Texas Barbie said: Candle Impressions is better by a country mile! I still have the original ones they first brought to QVC. I love the new ones that you can set the number of hours you want them on. luvpups1276287742.453702 PostsRegistered 12/26/2006NM If you're going to buy flamelss candles buy candle impressions. Really top of the line. I have them everywhere and they're fabulous night lights!! I think they are so real looking with the little black wick and the feel of real wax. I have six different sets so far. Just waiting to see if they come out with some other designs in red. The glow is just awesome in the red ones. truckwidow1276440428.9032538 PostsRegistered 8/23/2008Cali Candle Impressions with timers. ~A dog wags it's tail with it's heart.~ KailaS1277165148.097544 PostsRegistered 10/6/2004 CI are better. I have bought Home Reflections, but they just do not appeal to me as much as CI. Diane13171277409553.793145 PostsRegistered 7/23/2008 CANDLE IMPRESSIONS.......with the timers they last for months! Same is not true for the few Home Impressions I have purchased, They seem to go thru batteries like crazy. I will only purchase CI from now on. Well-behaved women seldom make history! Cindy Jo1277698075.80750 PostsRegistered 8/8/2009 Candle Impressions is a better quality candle with the timer and has a better battery life without a doubt. I think Home Reflections, being the QVC Brand, is trying to replace CI and cut out the middle man.... colson1278041829.427352 PostsRegistered 10/23/2007East Coast On 6/27/2010 Cindy Jo said: Candle Impressions is a better quality candle with the timer and has a better battery life without a doubt. Another voter here for Candle Impressions, with timers, the real wax feel and the fact that they last. I have four sets and two indidviduals Love them...if there is every a blackout, I am sure set! No contest - Candle Impressions are much better. Better made, better designs, don't break (in my experience and I have 40-50 of them). Only sent one back because I didn't really like the design once I saw it. itsmetoo1292710946.9331300 PostsRegistered 6/14/2006 On 6/11/2010 afshan said: On 5/20/2010 Texas Barbie said: Candle Impressions is better by a country mile! i agree Me too! Hands down - no contest. ajmrn301292731303.447117 PostsRegistered 10/31/2010 Another vote for Candle Impressions. While I do own some of the Home Reflections and like them, the battery life of Candle Impressions is far superior to any other flameless candles I've ever owned. It's like the old Ron Popeil Rotisserie, you just "set it and forget it!" The candles are good for almost an entire year on one set of batteries. Plus, the flame is so much more realistic when it glows. BTW, I wonder what ever happened to Ron Popeil who used be be a guest on QVC from time to time. AJ summerblue1292800523.8672301 PostsRegistered 12/26/2007Long Island, NY CI. I have over almost 70 candles (1/4 no timers) & 99% are CI. HR's 6"+ ivory candles are very nice, but not as good quality as CI in terms of the quality of timer used. HR's 4" candles stink on ice. The color stinks, the LED only flickers at the top & because of the small size, unless you put the candle up high, you can see that gross faux plastic swirl bulb. Several of the HR holders are nice, like the swirl candle vase & the round metal open vases, but the workmanship on many stink, like the square plastic jeweled holder. Unless HR comes out with another glass vase as nice as their swirl one with a removable candle, I'm not going to be ordering from that line anymore. To date, I've never had a CI LED not work or die, & my oldest candles are about 2-3/4 years. This is not to say that CI is without it's own workmanship problems. I now generally stay away from anything hand-painted as on most of the hand-painted candles I rec'd. the painting is lousy. And I've gotten candles that were baked to long & were/or at a later date turned brown. And when in comes to s/3 sets, since each candle size is done in separate runs sometimes the white colors don't completely match. And just recently a couple of people have noted that the middle candle in the new s/5 set has a different LED color; probably because when those candles were mfr'ed. they used a different LED batch which caused the issue. If they are out of stock or discontinued on QVC you can usually find them new in the box on ebay. You have to check every day though as different ones are put up for sale daily. gojo1293842586.8773256 PostsRegistered 4/25/2006 Candle Impressions for sure. I've had some for years and are still working. Home reflections I've had for a few months - put new batteries in and they just died. azimuth1293911734.903557 PostsRegistered 8/17/2008 Add another vote for Candle Impressions! I've purchased a few for gifts and they are lovely and work very well. I have to admit I have not tried Home Reflections yet but I do have one item on my wishlist.
