I totally agree with you! That is highway robbery. It's a huge cuff, but I wouldn't pay that much for something that was silver and simulated diamonds. As many issues as we have all had with a stone coming out randomly, this bracelet would be destined to have many stones come up missing.

It is beautiful, but certainly not for me!

I totally agree

It is absurd!!!!!!!!!!

but I bet there will be takers.

Actually, this turns me off the entire line.

Happy to pass on that one! If these new price points hold, I will have no problem giving up JRQ permanently. And that could be a very good thing.

{#emotions_dlg.ohmy} I wasn't considering it anyway. Good thing!

I would like to see it in person though.

Phew.........thank the good Lord!!!! I was worrying that the price would be reasonable!!!!!

It is a lovely design, but , that price is just so wrong, on so many levels...

what a shame!

I know it is a wide cuff, but it is open work...I know it is sterling silver, but it is Diamonique! Not even gemstones!

I think it is a crazy, ridiculous high price!!

Honestly, I won't be ordering something that expensive, that is really costume jewelry, from TV! Gotta get a lot more for my money!

I cannot believe this! This costs almost as much of the large Aurora!!! I don't see it and I don't understand it. I was hoping to buy the hearts cuff, and now I can see that that won't be happening. I agree with the highway robbery description and am very disappointed. Where did you find this, and is hearts cuff up also? Very turned off. {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

When godfreako posted this pix on the first post, I wrote that I expected them to be in the 500 range so I knew I wouldn't be buying but this is ridiculous. I love my JR but I feel like the Q is just taking advantage of us with prices like this. i Guess this means that the heart one will probably be in the same range. Sigh.....

Agree about price being totally absurd! Can find nice piece of gold on ebay for this money...

Wow and considering all sizes are wait listed. Glad some have money to spend considering it is costume jewelry and even that marked up 3,000%. You can buy on the Rue her actual with diamonds for less than this bracelet - paying for the name not the quality. I myself have better things to spend that type of money on in today's economy-not trying to impress anyone.

Sorry, but this price tag just sort of makes me shutter. Pink Diamonique???????????

Expatgal, I saw that this morning. ITA, completely ridiculous and insulting to the Ripkanistas. {#emotions_dlg.sad} Considering the current pricepoints of the JRQ line and the airyness of the design, it should price for about $250 IMHO. Wink ~Peach

Absurd and yet, it's on waitlist. Obviously someone is willing to pay that much for silver and cz.

Sometimes they list items as waitlist so inventory is available for the upcoming shows- I doubt they've sold that many pieces 'unseen' already.

I've seen that design somewhere ... maybe in gold?

As long as people keep buying ... highway robbery.

I don't know much about the cost of gemstones but I bet they could have made this with rhodolite garnet (maybe even pink sapphire) and then it might be worth it to some. I hope it doesn't sell so designers get the message that we may want more for our money (or less out of our pockets).

There are so many places to buy Ripka without even leaving the comfort of your own home. (which is the point of shopping on QVC). I thought that the idea here was to enable us to buy Judith's designs at a better price point. (The other point of shopping on QVC).

The prices have been escalating while the materials become more scarce. I have still remained a frequent shopper despite that fact, but this cuff brings that notion to a breaking point as far as I am concerned. What is the excuse for this one? It can't be the price of silver, and it can't be the price of the stones! If the hearts cuff is this unreasonable, and I am sure that it will be and for that matter might even cost more, I'm over it and won't even be watching this weekend.

Perhaps I am overreacting, but I feel personally offended and unappreciated as an avid JRQ buyer. I don't care if they sell something for $800 if it is a somewhat fair price. I am upset about how out of line the price is for this particular item.

The large Aurora cuff was a few dollars more than this, and I think that it's night and day between the two!!!

Does anyone remember Pink Ice? Looks like a throwback.

Makes this cuff, J158257, seem like a bargain! {#emotions_dlg.blink}

Or this can be their normal "put it at full price a few days before the shows" then magically have a somewhat reduced "sterling designer day price" so you think "OK that's reasonable," even though even the lower price never is. It works like a charm and they do it every time.

Even the aurora, a work of art, isn't that expensive to make. Pink opals are inexpensive in bulk.

That is exactly what I was thinking! I have been watching this one for weeks, hoping it will go to clearance. Can you imagine??? Now I wonder if I should grab it in fear of like minds. Do you have this one, Pat?

Me too paintbrush. When I saw this cuff I was definitely going to purchase it if the price was reasonable. It's absolutely gorgeous and I would love to own it, but at $743.00??? Are they nuts? It shouldn't be more than $250.00 in my opinion. If she used real gemstones it may be worth that price. Why couldn't she use rhodolite garnet? Garnets don't cost that much. I think I'm off Ripka. I wish people would not buy at this price and maybe the PTB will think twice about charging such exorbitant prices. I'm appalled, I really am. {#emotions_dlg.sneaky} {#emotions_dlg.thumbdown}

Boy is Judith and the Q making a profit. Greedy, greedy, greedy! I always defended Judith when people would put her prices down, but I'm having a hard time doing that now. Something is definitely wrong here. They can charge what they like but I'll go on eBay and find her jewelry at more reasonable prices.

I'm upset because I've been a long time buyer, and as one of the other posters said, we come here to the Q to buy her jewelry at affordable prices so that we can own from her gorgeous line of jewelry. Now JRQ and JR2 are blended together for the most part.

Like another poster said, I'm personally insulted too! I definitely am not going to watch the shows this weekend now. I'm off to the beach instead and I'll have more fun!!

I think it's on WL until right before the show. They aren't actually sold out. The Q just does this so they won't sell out before the show starts.

I so agree with this and everyone else. What in the world are they thinking? It is a total turn off and insulting. I love JR and always will, so I am happy I've been collecting for so long that I don't need to take part in these new, ridiculous prices. JR is everywhere on sale all the time. QVC has lost it's way...
