 effie51 PostsJoined 9/7/2007 I have called Customer Service several times about a problem with the web site and they keep telling me no one else has complained. Over the weekend they told me it was becaue of high volume of people trying to get to the web site. When isn't there a high volume? Then I read the forum entries where people are complaining about problems. When I am on a forum and enter an item number, it just takes me right back to where I am. Once I entered "Judith Ripka' and it did the same thing. I cannot imagine I am the only one having this problem. I not only find the problem annoying, but also the fact that they keep implying there is no problem.

Lots of people are having problems with the website. There must be a dozen threads on the message boards about it, and lots of people say they're callling, too. One person on another thread says they use an Ipad and they think the website is BETTER, not worse and that's the only one I've seen who is not complaining. I am wondering if they're configuring it for Ipads etc. and it is causing problems for those of us using desktop PC's. At any rate, just like everything else, QVC doesn't listen and just does whatever they want despite the complaints. I think we just need to keep calling them and emailing them and making a lot of noise about it. I used to be a computer programmer/systems analyst. I know when you make changes to software there are problems. Let the user (ie.the QVC online user) know changes were made and then ask the user if things are working correctly!!! Let us tell you what is wrong so you can fix it. I can't buy something if I the 'search' feature isn't working. I wanted to see the video of the TSV because I missed the live presentation. It doesn't work. I hate this, I will not order any clothing without seeing the size chart. QVC, please fix this or you loose my purchases! At the very top of this page on the right side you'll see '(+/-) feedback', click on it and it takes you to a screen to email the IT team about the problems you're having. We'll all get faster results reporting our problems to the IT team rather than CS.

But again, perhaps QVC should be labeled better so people know what feedback it is for!!!!!! stevieb1343175605.66717978 PostsRegistered 11/4/2007 IF (big if) the zoom and enlarge features worked on my home computer I'd say the 'new' site has the potential to be an improvement. I like the options, I like the ability to narrow down, especially in the clearance section, I like the aiblity to look at bags without shoes (for example)... The wishlist is improved a bit, etc. But I don't like that I can't enlarge or zoom in on items I want to see more clearly. Oddly, when I use this features on my work computer, a new page opens and it works perfectly, but when I try it at home it's a big fat dud. I'm using Chrome on both computers, so don't honestly know why the feature doesn't work. I can use Chrome to enlarge the page, but that's a hassle and really, I shouldn't have to... I like the feedback feature. Sadly, although I offered this feedback, I see the problem remains unsolved. I did get an email from them. Essentially, they thanked me for my feedback... As for the denials that others are having problems. That's vintage QVC. They never like to publicly admit a glitch, especially, it appears, when it involves their website. When trying to cancel an item ordered it tells you the system can't process your request. When trying to see my order status I get to it one time out of three times. I got nothing but spin from the CS rep telling me it was my Internet problems! Funny I can order and check out just fine--lol. The security certificiate warning comes up all the time. The list of problems mounts more each day and I see nothing is being done to correct it. I have written an email to customer service regarding the issues on the website and QVCs response was: We are sorry you are experiencing difficulties with the website. We will forward your email to the appropriate department. I wrote them about two weeks ago. And the website is getting worse. I cannot zoom in on any products or enlarge the videos. Anything I put in my shopping cart disappears even if I put it in saved items and even if I sign in. Everything disappears. If I want to search for something, I have to do it from the home page. And I still am not getting used to the ALL CAPS in the Community Forum. With all the increase in prices and shipping and handling, you would think QVC could hire more capable IT people. We are all experiencing thes problems so it is not our computers QVC, it is your Website. Please fix this. Fairly medium BE, brownish gold hair with weird white highlights (where did they come from???) green eyes, except when they're blue! Unpaid housekeeper for 3 great kitties. They let us live here! I clicked on a very popular D&Co. item that they've had for years and I received a message saying "this item cannot be ordered on the internet. You must call to order." What?! They've pushed the internet for years and even more so lately with the additions of tablets, smart phones, etc. I'm not calling to order just on principal. I should be able to order online. I read someone else posting about this a few days ago but thought maybe it was just a temporary issue. I had to do this almost 10 times before it worked...and then they were sold out of my size/color! So no shoes for me. Wednesday I ordered a top I had put in my save for later box....today it is still showing as "in process" and it is still in the save for later box....so is it coming or not? They need to work on their website.
