They didn't fit me well. I found the rise too high if I got the right length. They just didn't work for my body. And I didn't like the fabric, too stretchy. But millions have been sold, so lots of women like them!! "You make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven, for too long, for too long"

Oh, a broken ankle, I feel for you! I've had a broken foot and it wasn't fun. I wish you a speedy healing and back to wearing what you want to wear! Re: Diane's sandals. I love a wedge sandal, but I hate how high the front part of her wedge is. "You make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven, for too long, for too long"

< You said it thunder!...Ive been living in nightgowns and shorts..t shirts for four weeks. If I never wear another sperry's topsider it,s fine with me, since that's all I can wear on my good foot to walk with my crutches. I did a good job on myself , major surgery with a total of 9 screws and 2 plates in my left ankle..all from stepping off my porch from a height of only four inches! Ridiculous. - A government big enough to give you everything you want, is then strong enough to take everything you have.

I like wedge/platform shoes but those are ugly .. :) willdob31339977703.7235333 PostsRegistered 10/31/2010 She was talking about all the wonderful sandals she saw in England - I wonder if she got these there? I love wedges but nothing close to that high. I think there is a point wear it goes from fashionable to, well, something else. Can she walk gracefully in them? I don't think she has moved her feet at all since I tuned in... lol... Thanks thunderkitty for the reply, I think that Diane look silly herself on air, but IMO, I think it's the top's she has on. I hate to try her jeans and have to return them with the shipping cost. Guess I will pass, I tried Bradley on the Q and they were so cheap. Reminded me of PJ's. Thanks again. Love that store where you will get a $200 - $300 pair of jeans for about $79 or if your lucky, you get them on clearance. Bought Hudson , J Brand, Tory burch ,etc. KittyLouWho1339979908.1326542 PostsRegistered 1/11/2006 On 6/17/2012 BurbankKate said: On 6/17/2012 thunderkitty said: On 6/17/2012 BurbankKate said: Ok...I'm watching now...oh my!...after I recoupfrom my broken ankle ( only 8 weeks to go) ...that would be the last thing I will put on myfoot...that sandal she's wearing is a guaranteed broken ankle! Ooof, you DID do a job on your ankle. I broke my foot by stepping off a curb wrong when I was out for a run. But I didn't have to have surgery, just a cast. I agree the top is very unflattering. I hear you about having to return them. I hate having to do that. One thing I WILL say, her jeans are packaged very nicely when shipped. They're not just stuffed into a plastic bag! "You make me feel like I've been locked out of heaven, for too long, for too long"

Definitely not my thing, and IMO shouldn't be hers either. I'm not ordering from her line again. Burned too many times. Let me know if you suddenly become interesting. I have tried DG's jeans more than once and didn't have a good result either. I really think it's how you are shaped. I am a pear shape. They definitely aren't for my body type. I think her jeans are more for women who don't have a defined waist or carry their weight through their mid-section. The waist on her jeans is several inches bigger than in most other brands and she brags about that all the time as a huge selling point. Like TK, the rise was way too high on me and I detest the material. They are not a true jean material. If I'm not mistaken, they are cotton, ramie and spandex and may even have some polyester in them. I just hated the way they felt. Formerly Queen of Posts - changed to avoid confusion.
I'm just one stomach flu away from my goal weight - Emily (Devil Wears Prada) I am so glad someone wrote about this...I was watching her yesterday and those wedges were ridiculous. They were so bottom heavy, it looked like she had bricks tied to her feet with tiny straps. As for the jeans, I do carry my weight in my tummy pretty much exclusively. I have a small backside and not much in the hip and thigh department but I have a poochie pouch unfortunately. The DG2 jeans are a Godsend for me. They aren't my favorite material in the world but they fit....and that is what I have to prioritize these days. I wish Denim & Co' jeans worked for me but I've tried several styles, even the Leah jeans, and they are always bagging in the behind. Oh well.
