Hey ladies. Is there any ingredient in the John Frieda Curl Reviver Mousse that can cause hair breakage? I never blow dry my hair and I only flat iron it maybe once every month or two - and I always use a heat protectant.

WATER, ISOBUTANE, VP/METHACRYLAMIDE/VINYL IMIDAZOLE COPOLYMER, POLYQUATERNIUM-46, PROPANE, PANTHENOL, LAURETH-3, CETEARETH-25, COCOTRIMONIUM METHOSULFATE, BENZOPHENONE-4, PROPYLENE GLYCOL, DIAZOLIDINYL UREA, METHYLPARABEN, PROPYLPARABEN, FRAGRANC

You need to look each of these up one by one. Many are used in strong solutions, such as antifreeze, refrigerants, detergents, solvents.... That alone makes me suspicious, and wonder why in heaven's name they are put inside something you use on your skin/scalp!

Please stop using the product immediately and see what happens. I suggest getting some argan oil, rub together in your hands and run through the hair. Sorry this is happening to you. As far as the ingredients being used in antifreeze as Harpa has pointed out, I doubt that any hair product could use such a ingredient.

I've been trying to look them up and all the pages I've looked at just have scientific words I don't recognize.

I'll keep looking.

Never mind. I finally found a site that I can actually understand what they are saying.
