catlvr5436 PostsJoined 5/5/2005 Seriously? And how does a gallon bottle work in the shower? I had no idea! I think I bought it in 8oz when I tried it. Didn't do much for me. Who has $177 to spend on shampoo/conditioner? catlvr

I love WEN and I pay for it, but I got the 32 oz., plus 3 other products for about $60. Pixie Jo catlvr1338947001.7335436 PostsRegistered 5/5/2005 On 6/5/2012 Pixie Jo said: The total comes to $201. That amount is just incomprehensible to me...but then I'm using one of Suave's shampoos and conditioners right now...tells you what I'm willing to spend...lol. catlvr It would take me YEARS to spend that much on products! I bet I don't spend even $50 a year on products, more like $25. When we shoulder the mantle of compassion no cry goes unheard and no wound goes unhealed. I would say things like: Hmmm, shall I make a car payment this month or buy shampoo? I finally broke down and tried the Winter Vanilla Mint after noticing that my QVC buddy at work had particularly nice hair one day, and she told me that she bought some of the WEN. I used it only as conditioner and only on the weekend. It took about a week for me to realize I didn't want to be without it. I am finally getting compliments on my hair again. You either love it or hate it. Pixie Jo Pixie Jo1338947482.583511 PostsRegistered 7/4/2009 On 6/5/2012 Karenk said: A pathetic waste of money. What a scam he's got going! And the after photo is clearly styled within an inch of their lives??? I let my hair air dry yesterday...it was a bit straw-y, a bit frizzy and a bit wavy. Today I blow dryed my hair and it is bouncy, styled and shiny. I do not use any styling products. catlvr kcladyz1338947765.4131737 PostsRegistered 4/30/2012Kansas City, Missouri Unless i hit it big at the casinos you will never see me buy that much lol I like WEN but not enough to stop buying drugstore shampoos. Pixie Jo1338947814.633511 PostsRegistered 7/4/2009 That photo of the model who washes her hair with shampoo and it's all fuzzy is a double-edged sword. To me that says that WEN does not have long-term beneficial effects. I am a WEN Girl - love the stuff, but when I shampoo, my hair reverts right back to serious waves and a completely different texture. I love WEN, but the results for me are of the immediate variety, if that makes sense. My biggest stumbling block to using WEN was thinking that it would act like conditioner, and I would NEVER use conditioner on my roots because I despise flat hair (I'm a big hair girl). That feeling of silk is what hooked me. I couldn't keep my hands off of my own hair because of the smooth texture. The hair sort of repels itself. It's springy. When I shampoo, my hair is coarser. In the shower, I would never be able to run a comb thru my wet hair. In addict's terms, I almost wish I had never used that first pump. Yeah but it doubles as a weapon if anyone happens to break while you're in the shower. A gallon lasts me 6 months. catlvr1338954157.455436 PostsRegistered 5/5/2005 On 6/5/2012 _claudiaanne_ said: A gallon lasts me 6 months. CA- darling mum of Senor...a gallon of Suave would last me year...but if your hair is really soooo fabulous then by all means...go for it. Just as long as Senor's needs are met first...lol catlvr Catlvr, I don't use WEN any more. I like to be in and out of the shower and with WEN that wasn't possible. I now use Lea Journo and love it.
