Jane's "me me me oh did I tell you about me" approach to hosting might work with less polished guests, but Sally could have carried that show all on her own, sold more shoes, and benefitted QVC and the Earth brand had she not been so rudely cut off in mid-sentence throughout the entire presentation! Sally is terrific, the shoes look great, and I'll soon be purchasing a pair despite the fact that Jane T. hi-jacked and almost wrecked the brand during their much anticipated first hour show. I rarely watch the shoe shows because so many are hosted by Jane Rudolf Treacy, and I can't watch her shows without using the mute button. I was viewing the video for the sling back pump and, once again, I had to stop the video because annoying Jane interrupted Sally 30 seconds into the video with some comment about a photo of her mom. IMO, Jane needs a few lessons in good manners. I'm sure I'm not the only one who tires of hearing her endless chatter about her family, and her rudeness toward her vendors knows no bounds. I think the kick may be too associated with her Birki days. She came across (to me) as a bit more "subdued" yesterday than she used to be. It seemed a little awkward (again, to me) that, after singing the praises of Birkenstock for so long, she was now selling another brand of shoes. But, I did enjoy her (and, as I said earlier, Jane too  ). It sounds as though Jane's mom was a classy lady, and if so, she is probably rolling over in her grave every time Jane is blabbing about her. Also, I'm sure she probably taught Jane some manners but they must not have caught on with her. One RUDE woman (among several on the Q). imo.
