2 Watch Reviews: Isaac TSV and Gossip from the LR Show

I'll first start with the Isaac TSV (J158222). Received this today in the Pink. I was anxiously awaiting for this one to arrive based on the glowing reviews. For me, this watch is just okay.

The Pros are I'm over the moon about the color. It's the perfect Pink!! So neutral that it will go with just about anything. I'm also impressed with the quality of the links. Seems very sturdy & thick. Has a nice deployment clasp...secures tightly closed.

The Cons in my opinion is the overall size of the watch. The face is a lot smaller than it looked on-air. The links are also quite narrow. Still great looking, but just not a Wow in my book. I have no doubt the average customer will enjoy this size though, because it leans on the more feminine side and not like a big boyfriend size dial which I normally gravitate to. Still undecided if it's a keeper. Love the color, but I know it won't be a watch I first grab for.

Second review is for a watch I saw on the LR show last week. It's by Gossip (J265811). I cannot begin to tell you the last time I've been this crazy over a Gossip watch. I'm a watchaholic and tend to be extremely picky especially when it comes to fashion watches. I like a watch to look expensive. Let me tell you, this watch looks like it cost money!! It is beyond gorgeous!!! I received the Grey. Awesome color. The Grey is a medium shade. Just divine! Not dark and not too light. Definitely not a color you see coming & going.

There are ZERO Cons for me with this one. The size of the case is perfection!! True boyfriend dial. Love the softness of the cushion shape (but beware it is thick; it sits high up off the wrist and i couldn't be happier about that!). Initially I wasn't sold on the Rosetone but it is so subtle and soooo beautiful! This watch wouldn't look as great with Silvertone or Goldtone accents. The Rose makes IT breathtaking!! It will go with either Yellow Gold or White Gold/Sterling jewelry. Adore the subdials...they are functional. And LOVE the crystals INSIDE the face!!, Very, VERY unusual. Stones are tiny are give off just the right amount of bling to look undoubtedly authentic against the Roman Numerals. The watch look so high class. My DH thought I was joking when I told him the price of this one. He knows I have a tendency to drop money when it comes to my watches. I had to show him the invoice to prove this watch was not as expensive as it looks. It's a definite thumbs up!! Order any color if you can. I've already gone back and got the Navy & Orange on their way to me next week! Can't wait. {#emotions_dlg.biggrin} Lisa chose a winner. Best Gossip watch yet!

Enjoy your new watches. I don't have any regrets at all for cancelling the Isaac watch. I guess I'm spoiled by the boldness of the Micheal Kors ceramic watch. I knew the Isaac watch would be too small. That gossip watch in my opinion is way better looking. Wear it in the best of health.

I saw that Gossip watch on Lisa's show. It did look very expensive! I was shocked at the price. Then I pulled up your link. Such a shame that photo does not do that watch justice! That is great the crystals are on the inside of the watch so you won't have to worry about losing one.

I should be getting two IM watches today. I hope I like the size. I like substantial but not huge. The fact it had no crystals was what made the sale for me. I really really wanted the Vicenza TSV watch but it was so much money. I got two IM watches for half the price of the Vicenza watch.

Enjoy the watches! If you keep wearing the Gossip watch IM's watch will look super tiny to you. Wink

I'm glad you like them. Isn't Gossip only available on QVC? That's what holds me back. I don't want a QVC-only recognizeable piece of jewelry.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I am also a watch fanatic, and the Gossip watch really does look like an expensive watch. The color you went with, would have been my choice also. Enjoy your new watches.

Thanks girls for checking in. Smile

So after wearing my Isaac TSV watch in Pink around the house for the past couple of days, I'm having second thoughts about keeping it. Looking down at it every little while and I'm just not feeling the love.

I'm typically a Go Big or Go Home kind of girl when it comes to my watches and for me this watch does not fit that category. It's actually quite small than what I'm used to. I like bold, statement watches even though I have a very small wrist.

I keep reading all the outstanding reviews and that's what's holding me back. So silly right? I keep asking myself if I'm going to regret sending this watch back. However, I already envision not grabbing this watch as my go to. Hmmm...decisions, decisions. Will I end up loving it and get used to it???

The gorgeous neutral girly Pink color is what's making me waffle back & forth. I hate to give that up, LOL. The price was great too (for the quality of this watch) and we won't see that again either.

What are your thoughts? TIA.

italia, I have a hard making these kind of decisions. I go back & forth...back & forth! Good luck on making your decision. I'm on WL for the IM watch. I like the fact that it is a smaller face. I like a variety in my watches. I also have a Gossip watch that looks so much like ceramic and when it was on clearance for $18.00 I just couldn't say no...

Have a great weekend.

Here's my thoughts from my own experience:

I'm like you Italia, I love big bold watches. That's why I have gravitated to only wearing Micheal Kors. I love them because the strap is wide on his ceramic watches and so is the face. Has the right amt. of bling too. Anyway, I have other watches that aren't as big and bold, and haven't worn them in ages due to their size. I also don't have a huge wrist. I just don't go to those watches at all anymore. They just sit in a box without being worn. Waste of money. So my opinion is I would save yourself 100 plus dollars and return the Isaac watch if you're not happy about wearing it or it will sit in a box just like my small watches have.

IF IT DON'T WOW YOU, RETURN IT.Cool

Love my blue and white "Isaacs"...but a word to the wise, if you have to size it down, it is NOT easily adjustable by a reputable jeweler even though Isaac and the hosts all said it was. I tried to place this in the reviews of the watch but QVC bounced it even though I gave the watch 4 stars. Beware that if the jeweler has to take out links, it is very difficult to reconnect the bracelet and if the silver rods are not flush with the edge of the ceramic, they are likely to fall out and the bracelet will come apart. Glad I have mine in both blue and white, but am unlikely to get other colors (as I had planned) due to this design flaw and the additional cost of sizing.
