I really don't believe that Jackie just said the average woman spends $ 10,000 on hair removal in a lifetime. The average woman????????? How did she say that with a straight face? Over the top sales pitches are dishonest.

That was crazy. There is no way I have spent anywhere close to that!

I have heard some of the silliest things said by many of them lately. That's why I put it on mute most of the time.

not so unrealistic.....i have been doing just my upper lip and eyebrows since i was about 16. i have been paying around $25 with the tip for quite a while.....probably less when i was 16 i am sure. i do that once a month. i am not even including all of the razors and blades i have bought since then for my legs, arms, and underarms.

i am sure that many other women do even more expensive hair removal procedures and have to remove it from other parts of their bodies.

i calculated using JUST my upper lip and eyebrows and came up with approximately $10800 so far that i have spent for waxing.

Think about it, depending on how often you change blades you could spend $10-20 each month. When did you start shaving -12? 15? you will never stop unless you are one of those women whose hair disappears in their 60s or later. At 62 I still shave. So if you start at age 12 and shave until you are 65 that is 53 years. At $10 a month for 53 years you will spend $6360. If you go in for the occasional wax or use depilatories, get your brows waxed, it does add up. I am not surprised at the number at all.

No sillier than some of the vendor claims (i.e. Josie Maran).

My ma had electrolysis every week for years......new crops of hair kept springing up. She also had her hair done every week........I estimate she spent over $150,000.
