Covert Affairs Season Finale (possible spolier)

I didn't like the season finale. First let me say I don't like change! It seems that they maybe are writing Arthur out. Joan is getting a promotion and wants Annie to join her. I will be upset if they write Auggie out. I kind of always hoped he and Annie would get back together.
