Egad! Dyson again! How many Dysons can they sell???? I like having QVC on, but I find something else when Dyson comes on! Then when I saw the TSV.....I had dreams of vacuuming with a Dyson....more like a NIGHTMARE!!!!

Dyson is an all day infomercial at QVC. Dyson pays them for the air time.

Not everyone is delighted with them, but I was given a DC25 Animal and it performs better than any other vacuum I've owned. I do think the Hoover Windtunnel is a good substitute, and it has the advantage of a retractable cord. And it's priced less than half. The Dysons are pricey. You can go read comparative reviews to decide if the TSV is worth it ever. If I wasn't given the DC25 as a gift, I'd probably go with the Hoover. I just can't see 500 for a vacuum.

And what's worse is that both QVC AND HSN seem to sell Dysons. Got rid of mine a couple of years ago and much prefer Sharks My Dyson was just way too heavy.

I hate my Dyson. The motor for the beater bar part is a separate piece. It burned out (the vacuum works but the beater bar doesn't rotate). It would have cost almost 70 bucks to have it repaired.

It sits in a closet and I use a cheap Hoover I bought at Target. Works great.
