I just purchased

Butterball XXL Digital 22 lb. Indoor Electric Turkey Fryer by Masterbuilt

and I am having a hard time finding the oil for this at a reasonable price. can you tell me some suggestions please?

Doesn't it just use regular cooking oil? Sunflower oil is good for frying because of the higher smoke point. If you have a Costco card, you might be able to get it in a giant jug.

You might be able to order peanut oil from Amazon, but, yes, it is expensive. It does last a long time, though. Here in the South, it's sold everywhere, including Wal-Mart. Don't know why it's not more readily available,

Home Depot (of all places) sells peanut oil for $30 bucks, 3 gallons.
