Does the HP Labtop E-226360 have a key allowing one to turn WiFi on and off?

I'm going to guess and say yes, the f12 key will turn the WiFi on and off.

On my Dell, it's F2.

You should be able to shut off the Wi-Fi from the icon on the Taskbar. Some Dell's have a special key that looks like a tower. it turns off the Wi-Fi.

I have an HP touchscreen laptop and when I press the F12 key my computer says "airplane mode on" or "airplane mode off", is that the same as WIFI? TIA

Yes, it is on the keyboard, there is what looks like a lighthouse on the key, when you are connected to wifi, the light on the key turns from red to white. In the settings you can disconnect from wifi if you have an 8.1 HP
