Does anyone know what the difference is in the K79 over the K75 ?

We are wondering the same thing, would love to see some comparisons between the two. They really seem very similar. The K79 looks like it has a rinse feature and a hot water button that the 75 doesn't, but other than that I don't see much of a difference.

Dimensions are slightly different, but sure looks the same to me...K79 doesn't even exist on the Keurig website. I have the K75 and love it although it doesn't have hot water on demand or rinse feature, which seems kind of nice. I can still get hot water though, you just don't put a k-cup in...

I just received my K79 and it's amazing! It has couple extra features compared to the K75.Yes,it's that the K79 has a rinse and hot water feature.I think that the B or K in front of the number in the model type is some kind of error...When I placed my order with QVC ,my receipt showed B79 but when I received it,it was K79 on the box...The item I got is exactly what I ordered, nothing wrong:) The K79 is the same machine as the one on the keurig site: http://www.keurig.com/brewers/k79-platinum-plus-brewing-system. If you closely pay attention, even the link indicates K79 and not B79.Simply some silly error for the same product I guess :)

The rinse and hot water only are neat for eye candy and selling points but as stated above the same thing can be achieved by using an empty my k cup or no k cup.

I just picked up a K75 for 129 shipped at newegg.

The K79 does exist on the Keurig website. Maybe it wasn't listed before when others checked, but it is there now. As for comparison, it seems they just added the rinse and hot water on demand feature. Simply upgraded. This is my third Keurig. They all have something different to offer, and they are all great machines.
