Mima I agree. Air is air. My 20 dollar blow dryer works just fine and does a good job. I bought this hair dryer about a year ago and have not seen any difference in my hair. A friend of mine felt the same way but we both have color treated hair and maybe that makes a difference with the shine and volume. My hair does not shine any different and I don't get the volume I see on QVC.. When this dryer dies I will buy a less expensive one.
