Mixing Too Many Colors in Patterns

I like many colors of temptations but I don't like seeing a pretty color trimmed in brown. I noticed this on many of this years offerings. Brown doesn't coordinate with every color, especially purple. I prefer the colors to coordinate on the piece. Keep Browns with Browns and other complimentary colors and stop adding it to your other pretty colors.

Brown and purple...looks like a nasty bruise.

Re: Mixing Too Many Colors in Patterns

Floral Lace is the pattern that seems to draw the most complaints about the brown trim. I love FL, and most of the brown trim, when it is thin. When you get the really big borders of brown like she did on the recent convertible, then I find it extremely unattractive. I also want to see the beading on all my FL pieces.

The brown trim on FL looks better on some colors than others. I think it looks especially good with green, spice and blue (light blue especially), fall, and not so good with the eggplant, and red.
