I think the new Vintage Grace dinnerware is very pretty. Actually beautiful. I just wish that they had offered it in more of the most popular and traditional TT colors, especiall blue, green, and yellow. Perhaps if it is popular, they will expand the colors.
I have lots of OW, and Jill was really pushing how well it coordinated with OW, but I think the Vintage Grace is too elegant to mix really well with a lot of the OW pieces. It can be done, but not a real polished look.
The price is pretty high too, especially with the shipping.
I had been waiting on some solid coordinating pieces, and these are truely lovely, but price , color selection, and unsure of the mix and match potential keeps me from buying. I think if they had solid colors to coordinate with the FL, that would be a better fit, and only the brown and maybe the light blue would work. Those two patterns would be beautiful together.
What do you all think of it?
I am waiting for some new DOTS.....
Or some Plain solid without any pattern to go with the Dots....
This new pattern, although solid colors, is still a little too fancy
and not plain or contemporary enough to use with the Dot Pattern.
I haven't seen this new design but since Temp-tations is in such demand I'm glad to see that Tara is trying to give everyone another choice to mix-n-match.
I have seen something very similar in a local design store that carries all kinds of home decor, including a lot of Christmas items, one of my favorite Christmas time places to shop. They have it in the shabby chic area of dishes and nic nacs. The colors they have are light pink, light green and red and mocha ! Very reasonably priced too may I add, I think the dinner plates were $4.00 each. I would buy it there if I was going to buy it, don't need any new dinnerware though. Jill really thinks of herself a professional desinger I guess.....
I watched the presentation, I thought it was pretty, but the moment she mentioned Temptations, I lost interest. It's not elegant at all,
I have a few pieces of temptations, and it chips very easily. Lost interest in it. I'd rather save my money and buy dishes that don't chip. The first two items I received, I unwrapped them and they chipped. They're porous and cheaply made.
I thought the dishes were expensive and the shipping outrageous. If you don't like them, are you really going to send them back? Probably not.
the Grace design looks okay but not impressed; looks cheap to me.....I will pass
cheap made in china.
ITA ... madein China junk!
I am getting so tired of products made in China ! There workmanship is just not good at all to say the least....
