why are all the shadows in soft light colors

I like tarte products but the shadows are almost exactly the same as a previous set I've bought. I'd really like to see some grays and charcoal shadows, and dark blue liners. The browns seem to make people look tired in my opinion.

I'm not a huge brown shadow fan either. This kit has a variety of light, med and deeper shades to create a complete look along with both light shimmers and mattes. It has a couple amazing mauve shades that are very unique.

Nude and natural palettes have been big for a long time. I have previous Tarte palettes that have mostly nude and natural colors but also throw in a few cooler tones like plum and gray shades. A lot of people have to avoid the cooler tones because they bring out the blue in their completions. People with under eye darkness often accentuate those tones when they wear something cooler with their eyeshadow.
