What's With All the Elastic Waists?

I have found it frustrating that QVC seems to think we all want elastic waist clothing. Have been searching for some crop and ankle pants for spring/summer with a zipper and button, little to none in the inventory! I am certainly not ready to succumb to a wardrobe of all elastic waists! Help me QVC!

You'll have to look elsewhere.

Zippers and buttons limit the number of buyers.

I don't like elastic waists either. They always go way above my waist and are so uncomfortable!

So much cheaper to manufacture.

Wore an old pair of lime green denim and co. crops the other day. They are a soft polished cotton with white crochet (forget the term) around the pockets. It has a beautiful finish to all areas and a zipper and button. Nothing close is sold these days on the Q.

I guess you'll just have to shop elsewhere because the majority of Q's customers seem to want elastic waists. I know I do.

Thank you, Crisso. Frumpy is a good word for elastic waists. I am sure that there are some that wouldn't look frumpy, but they certainly might make me feel that way! Hopefully QVC will listen up and provide more options! And thanks to you also luvingit, that back view in elastic waists can be unforgiving!
