I love watching Alberti - he adds a whole new dimension to QVC. I would love to see him on air in the early evening hours (7-10 pm) instead of doing overnighters. He is funny, informative and sincere. He has come a long way since coming to QVC. Lisa loves him and it's obvious why. He is right on trend. She is so smart to always surround herself with people who are innovative thinkers and just on the cusp of becoming very successful. Alberti is going to be that person, I predict. Give his shows a try - you will be pleasantly surprised. To gain further insight into who Alberti is, like his Facebook page - he posts interesting and refreshing posts daily. A nice change from the usual complaining posts on Facebook. I wish him nothing but the best in his future at QVC. He's found his niche here in such a short time. When Lusa leaves (such a sad day), there is no way to recreate PM Style w/o her, but how much fun would it be to create s show for Alberti during that time slot? Sure others have been there longer, but sometimes you have to shake things up to keep your audience interested. Like Courtney, Alberti will appeal to the younger generation. (Not that I am in that age group- I just love watching him). He brightens my day and hopefully will do the same for others. I wish him the best!!!!!!

Great post! {#emotions_dlg.thumbup} I agree with just about everything you've said, but I do think Alberti is way past Courtney. Sorry, I just don't care for her and, as I've posted before, I can't even pin down exactly why. I just don't enjoy watching her, but I'll watch Alberti anytime, presenting anything! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I like him too and frankly, I don't think shows should necessarily be assigned based on who's been there the longest... There are some really good long-term hosts and there are some I consider real duds, likewise with the newer hosts...

While I like him as well, I find the OP's cross-posting annoying.

KYToby - sorry I was posting from my iPhone so I didn't think it went through the first time.

I wish the Q would make the Iphone print larger words...tiny posts are almost impossible for these old eyes to read...not blaming you, rain24...I know its not your fault...

I like Alberti, too....he is so much fun to listen to...he has a sense of humor...and he knows his products...always polite to the guests and the callers...

Courtney is just SO unlikeable. I hope they get rid of her soon!

All hosts start off at overnight when they begin. Its good practice when audiences are smaller (and depending on the time, it is primetime on the West Coast). As they get more experience and more seniority, they move up. Its often hard because the established hosts don't leave. Lisa leaving is going to open a lot of primetime space for other hosts. (Some hosts may even want to work overnight because of their schedules)

Don't worry, if a host is on the air and sales spike, they will definitely be moved to hours whenmore people watch. He is one of the only male hosts that they comfortably put in traditional female hosts slots of selling women's clothes and beauty products. That will give him more flexibility. Being on air with Lisa actually has given him a lot more exposure which is a coup for him.
