Purchased one of the original sets in wicker baskets as well as 3 spouted serving/batter bowls in white with a raised floral design. Would like to add pieces in white---goes with everything and doesn't compete with food or table linens.

I love white dishes, baking and serving pieces. Of course, I also love color and pattern, but much of my essential oven ware is plain, basic white and it always 'works'.

Don't the Temptations people call white bakeware ugly? I remember seeing part of a presenation once (I could never hang for a whole one because I find the product repugnant) where they were comparing it to a white, or ivory, piece of Fiesta, calling the white stuff ugly and boring. Apparently, their busy patterns are much more (gag) appealing than plain old ugly white. Smiley Happy

There is also plain old ugly white Corningware that will outlast Temptations for years. No cracking or crazing, I can visualize how "charming" white Temptations would look with that crazing.
