exactly what it says. They offer you an item, tell you when it will ship (billing when it's shipped)

All you have to decide is whether you really want the item and are willing to wait for it.

I like Advanced Sales - they let me plan my budget and they're not at all susceptible to impulse buying. I've used it only a few times, but it worked perfectly.

I purchased the JM August TSV last week and it's on Advanced Sale. It's currently saying that my item will be delivered 9/5/14. Which I doubt. It will most likely ship either the last week of July or the first week in August.
