I want to make a poster and put 8 children's names on it in 4th grade-I'd like to use oak tag-I have the cricut machine-the 2nd one they came out with and the font cartridge-
I guess my ? is what can I use to cover the oak tag-I was thinking burlap, but decided against that-any ideas would be appreciated-

Hi Catlover, nothing comes to mind immediately. Could you cut out each tag with a different patterned paper for each child and write their names with a Sharpie? Does your Cricut cut fabric? You could maybe cut the tag in fabric, glue/stick it onto cardstock so it has a firm backing and then use a fabric paint marker to write their name.
Have I understood correctly that you want to make name tags for the kids using an oak leaf pattern? I don't have a Cricut so I don't know it capabilities really.
Actually, you might want to post this question over on the Cricut discussion boards. You might get better/faster answers. Good luck!
