vitamix 4 ingrediant cheese broc soup - anyone have the recipe??

My Vitamix recipe book has the following ingredients. Hope this is what you were looking for.

1 cup skim or low fat milk

1/3 cup shredded low fat cheddar cheese

1 cup chopped fresh or frozen broccoli or cauliflower florest, steamed

1 teaspoon diced onion

1 teaspoon cornstarch

1/4 teaspoon chicken or vegetable bouillon or soup base

Steam and reserve an extra cup of florets to add to your finished soup when serving.

1. Place all ingredients into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.

2. Select Variable 1.

3. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to Variable 10, then to High.

4. Blend for 5-6 minutes or until heavy steam escapes from the vented lid.

Yield: 2 cups

POTATO SOUP WIYH BACON IN A SLOWER COOKER ON IN THE NINGA

Thank you for the recipe - I have one from my cookbook which is similar, what I am actually seeking is the one that they used on air and said it was only four ingredients. I watched a couple of presentations and they never gave any breakdowns of the ingredients.... frustrating but hopefully someone who had the new cookbook/ 2014 model vitamix will see this and share.

ih7sisters: I just received my new Vitamix today 10-29-14, and my new recipe book lists the same recipe as mountaincamper. I think I saw the same presentation as you, where they said the "recipe only had 4 ingredients, .... it is in the book." It does have milk in it. Perhaps they misspoke.

I have never made soups in my Vitamix - at least not from start to finish. I have pureed the ingredients, then I warm it up on the stove or microwave. Mainly because I can't stand 5-6 min of the loud noise. Works just at well and faster.

The cookbook that comes with the recent Vitamix - is it available in a single purchase?
