Ruby Tuesday Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Ruby Tuesday posted this to their Facebook a while ago and I thought others (and who don't have FB) would like it.

Enjoy!

I think Red Lobster's are much better.

Re: Ruby Tuesday Garlic Cheese Biscuits

Thanks for sharing, Ane! I will give this a try. Our local Ruby Tuesday doesn't offer these like they used to. Sometimes they have them and other times they don't. The last time they brought them to our table there was one really small bite-size biscuit for each of us. When I try it, I'm going to make them super size. Smiley Happy

I have a recipe for faux Red Lobster biscuits from scratch and they're quite good.

I wonder what the veg oil is for. It doesn't address that in the recipe. Personally, I would not put veg oil in the biscuits, but they DO need butter in them. Smiley Happy

Re: Ruby Tuesday Garlic Cheese Biscuits

The veg oil doesn't go in the biscuits. The recipe says the oil is for the pan -- I presume to keep the biscuits from sticking: ""...place scoops of dough onto a lightly oiled baking pan."" I prefer to use parchment.
