16 oz= 1 lb. 3/4 of 16oz is 12 oz. = 28oz. You have13.5. You need 14.5 more oz.

Two cans would be 27 oz...and you need 28 oz...so you would have to buy the 3rd can for the extra one oz... Too bad it doesn't come in a bigger canister, huh?

Good luck!

The recipe I have says "about 1 3/4 lbs." I wonder if minus one oz would matter? :/ Guess you have to play it safe, huh?

For the one single ounce it would probably be OK to use regular flours - although since the recipe says "about" 1 3/4 lbs., I'd wait and see how the texture of the dough is first. When making bread or rolls, I'd start out with 3/4 of the flour called for in the recipe, then add more until I get the texture I want.

I would WEIGH your flour first, to make sure that 16oz BY VOLUME is the same as 16oz by WEIGHT.

Some things are not the same by weight as they are by volume. (just a thought to make sure) Measuring by weight also tends to be more accurate than going by volume.

OK you have 13.5 oz but you need 28 oz.

1.75 lbs = 28oz

You need a little more (1 oz) than double what you have.

Never heard of using Wondra for biscuits ...only use it for making gravy as the " grains" seem harder, more dried out and "separated" so it doesn't clump as easily
