has anyone tried to make their own kind bars?

I want to make something like a cross between a kind bar and a peanut butter ball. I'd like to omit all the sugar in the peanut butter ball, and use brewers yeast, maybe honey, with dried fruit, and nuts. Any ideas of how to go about it? TIA

Type Kind Bars in the search box. I saw a post from LilBitMissty and I think there are others. I haven't tried yet, but I would like to!

What a great website! Thanks, Deadeye Daisy! I liked the mixed drinks section. Wink

Honey is sugar.

You may want to study up some on botany and apiology.

Honey isn't sugar, nor does it come from sugar. The honey we eat is 'manufactured' primarily by honey bees as a way of making food for the hive. Think of it as 'bee vomit'.

While honey CAN be processed into a granular form, it will NEVER be the same as sugar. It's not digested as sugar. Sugar in this country mostly comes from sugar cane or sugar beets.

To a person w/diabetes honey is sugar.
