My dogs are members of our family and I love 'treating' ...

Peanut Butter and Pumpkin Dog Treats
makes: one dozen

2 cups whole wheat or rice flour
1 cup oats
1 tablespoons honey
1/4 cup smooth peanut butter
1/3 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup water.

In a bowl combine all ingredients and mix until well combined. Press dough into a ball, wrap in plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for an hour up to overnight. Lightly flour your work surface and roll dough out until it is about 1/2 inch thick. Use a cookie cutter or the mouth of a small glass to cut out the treats.

Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes. Allow to cool before 'treating'.
