Many will remember Steve from years back. Not the orignal "Steve" Colantuno, but the host who left and returned. Last I heard, he posted online he was DX; with a very serious and advanced stage of cancer. He looks well and I hope he found his miracle.
So if you get a chance, take a peek at SNBC. He's selling Macy's cookware.
Guess Bob Bowersox and Steve Bryant like the cooking segments on that northern channel.
Good to see him.

Goodness...I'm not sure I would have recognized him if I didn't know who he was. But I guess that's understandable since its been YEARS since I last saw him. I hope life has been good to him.
It is good to see him. I miss some of the "old" hosts. I enjoy Bob, Dave and now Steve on ShopNBC. It actually makes me stop and watch if I am channel surfing.
I missed him....I went over and they were showing a camcorder thingy.....I use to love watching Steve....
I checked out a video of one of the cooking presentations and I would not have recognized him either. Voice was different too. Having cancer myself and had chemo. if that was his illness good for him for recovering and getting back into shopping tv.

Actually, Steve has recovered beautifully from his cancer; he met someone whom he was sure was an angel and told him he'd be healed, with no damage to his singing voice (the doctors told him his voice would probably be ruined) and he was. He moved from Nashville to Sacramento to take a radio gig there, but it didn't work out; he's been looking for something else - maybe this is it, although I tend to doubt it - he hasn't mentioned it on FB.
He's coming out with a new book next year - "Another Dam Guest" - from the exerpts he's been posting, it's going to be a hoot!

Good to hear he's doing well. I always liked him. Thanks for posting. I liked Steve Colantuno too. I wonder what he's up to?
So is he a host or a vendor? He seems to be presenting everything from flashlights to cookware. I really liked Steve and hope he's fully recovered from cancer ~ it's such a dreadful disease.
I have a feeling they are trying him out. Good sales and he stays in some capacity. You have to remember the people running that network are ex-QVCers. I like the fact their easy pay promotions are on everything and not used in place of markdowns like QVC's are. Then I can make my choices by what I like, not what I think I can afford. I originally started watching because of Paul Deasy, now I find myself buying more from them all the time.
Sure, I remember him. Always wondered why he left QVC. I'd like to get his book when it is published.
