I thought this would be great over LilBit's Stuffed French Toast recipe...or over pancakes, bread pudding, or even ice cream!

APPLE CIDER SYRUP

1/2 c. sugar

4 t. cornstarch

1/2 t. cinnamon

1 c. apple cider OR apple juice (I usually use juice, because I always have it)

1 T. lemon juice

2 T. butter

In a small sauce pan stir sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon. Then stir in cider OR juice and lemon juice. Cook and stir the mix over medium heat until it is thickened and bubbly. Then cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Remove from heat and stir in butter until melted. Serve warm.

Makes about 1 1/3 cups.
