Does beautiful packaging sway you when it comes to beauty products?

Seldom. After a while, it's really meaningless if the product doesn't deliver, and more importantly, I don't want to pay for the fancy jar.

I can think of some wonderful products that are plain and simple and do the job!

Absolutely. I used to be a big Guerlain makeup fan because of the gorgeous packaging. Remember Meteorites? And I rebought over and over a lovely Guerlain lipgloss that was made up of five different layered colors that showed through the tube. The colors never got mixed together no matter how much product I used. How they managed that is still a beautiful mystery to me.

A luxe but not overpowering scent can make a difference to me too.

Nowadays I sometimes buy Dior lip products because they work so well and they look so nice.
