Hello Beauties!

I have a favorite matte primer from Philosophy that has been discontinued (Never Let Them see You Shine). Just scraping the bottom of the tube now. So....I am on the hunt for a new one.

Does anyone have a favorite?

Re: Favorite Mattifying Primer?

Skinn Cosmetics Orchid Gel. My sensitive, normal-to-oily skin LOVES it. This is a good kit to get:

And if you want to try both the Orchid Gel and a great microdermabrasion treatment..this is a good kit:

Re: Favorite Mattifying Primer?

Bare Minerals has an oil absorbing primer that works well for me - it's called Prime time oil control.

Have you tried Philosophy's The Present? I like it. I also use Rimmel's primers too

Funny this should come up today. Last night I stumbled on some articles/blogs about people with acne and/or oily skin using Milk of Magnesia as a primer. Apparently it dries to a matte finish and remains that way for several hours.

Hi Mandy, I have yet tried any Skinn products- but I do read here on the boards how much people enjoy these products. Will check out your suggestions, thank you!

Hi Michele- actually I LOVE the Prime Time eye primer. I think maybe the Prime Time Oil Control may be worth checking out. Thank you so much for the suggestion!

Hi scatcat- I have tried the Present , years ago, actually- it just wasn't a good fit for my skin. Thank you so much for the suggestion, though!

Just a quick note that if you DO go the Skinn route..a little goes a LONG way. Less is more Smiley Happy
