Carol's Daughter - Losing Cruelty Free Distinction?

She sold the company to L'Oreal. I believe L'Oreal does allow testing. I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

I thought many beauties on this Board would like to know.

I did not realize Loreal did animal testing ? This means Lancome as well is involved in animal testing. Loreal cosmetics are all involved ??? YIKES THIS IS NOT GOOD

Just saw my email from Carol's Daughter about being bought by L'Oreal. I did know that about Lancôme but had forgotten. Sorry to hear this.

The last time I used a loreal sulfate free shampoo it said on the bottle not tested on animals.

I know some people will get mad at me for saying this but it does not matter to me if a product is cruelty free. If it works i will use it if not then not

It's your choice but L'Oreal does test on animals.

Loreal tests on animals. Supposedly, companies like the Body Shop, still say they are cruelty free, but they are part of a company that does tests on animals so they can sale in China.
