Confession time: Hi, I'm Cindy and I am a Blush fanatic

Oh my...was cleaning out my make up box (I have a plastic handy-man tool box with compartments and a handle from Home Depot, tres elegante) and I realized all the blush I have. And, I can't get rid of a single one. I was a former brunette (now silver since I am over 60). I still have dark eyebrows and eyelashes, so I just use a little smudgy brown liner. I use foundation with a dusting of powder (LG BnB) to smooth things out. I like the new big Lip pencil Art Stick by Bobbi Brown (lip liner meets lipstick in Dusty Rose). But, I just love the blush. Maybe because without it, I look like Casper the Ghost's great aunt.

Any blush (s) you are having fun with?? Doesn't it just make you smile when you are doing those little apple cheeks ?

Cute post, Hi Cindy.

I love the Cheek Pops, too. I have the Berry, Plum, and Peach.

Curious to know whether you've tried the new Josie Maran Argan Infinity Lip and Cheek Creamy oil, or do you use only powder blushes?

My weakness is eye makeup, particularly shadows and liners. I've been using Tarte's Natural Beauty powder blush for a few months now and I love it. Yet I can't bring myself to throw any of my blushes away. In the makeup graveyard they go. Sigh.

Stargazer77, why do you have to throw any of your blushes away?

SusieQ3, I have Josie's argan cream blush; haven't tried the new Infinity. She has an Earth Day code (Earth22) that I have been staring at. Love the cream blush.

Because I love the Natural Beauty so much I don't think I want to use anything else ever again. And that's why I have to keep them, in case I change my mind! {#emotions_dlg.w00t}

I am totally in love with the Clinique Cheek Pop in Plum. It could be my Holy Grail blush. At last, a blush that doesn't turn orange on my skin! Cindy, I totally get what you're saying...without blush, I look so...pale. And old. Blush on!

Thank you for responding. I would say you should keep the other blushes, just in case. Unless of course they are taking up too much space. Personally, I can't imagine just using one blush for all time. I think that is awesome that you found something that suits you so well.

Edited for spelling.

Me too! Casper right here with you, and my blush collection would probably put yours to shame. Not sure whether I am bragging or confessing, but I am a blush addict as well, lol!

Re: Confession time: Hi, I'm Cindy and I am a Blush fanatic

My go- to blushes right now are BB Pot Rouge in Powder Pink or Blushed Rose. I am very fair and they both go on easily with my fingers and give me a natural flush of color. For a powder blush that I use occasionally it's either Benefit Sugarbomb or BB Brightening Finishing Powder in Brightening Nudes which you can use all over or concentrate it on your cheeks as a soft blush. Both give me a glow. I don't have a lot of blushes because they can easily make me look ""clowny"" so I seem to be sticking with these and using them often so I don't look washed out.
