DreamJeannes... Short or Regular?? Help!

Started 1374110865.923 in Quacker Factory | Last reply 1374423331.29 by chrystaltree

Hi Ladies!

Am stuck between choosing to buy Short or Regular length in the Upcoming August TSV. My inseam is 28 and the Short version has an inseam of 28 1/2, the Regular has an inseam of 31 1/2.

I've heard that having DreamJeannes hemmed can be difficult, don't know if this is true or not.

The 28 1/2 will be too short even wearing flats. On the other side of this the 31 1/2 will be too long even with low heals (1.5 - 2 inch heels).

Providing I can have the Regular length hemmed, it seems to me the Regular length is the way to go?

Thanks for any assistance :-)

I am 5'3" and wear the short along with shoes with either a 1-1/2" or 2" inch heel. If I ordered the regular, they would be dragging the floor. The short length fits me fine with that heel height.

Thanks KonaKat,

In their leggings I wear the short (25 1/2 inch inseam) and they are just shy of being too long for a legging.

I'm 5' 1/2" and a plus sized gal. Have never ordered DreamJeanne's in pants. I have several in leggings, capri's, peddlepushers though.

Really like your cat quote! Kitties are awesome!

Hi Circles,

I've never had any of my DreamJeannes shrink. Then again I "baby" my clothes and rarely ever machine dry anything. On occassions I have put them in the dryer on gentle once they are damp dry though.

Love my DreamJeannes! So comfortable, easy to move in, no bunching, binding or riding up!

Hope this helps you... I think you'd really like the DreamJeannes if you decide to give them a try :-)

Thanks to the two ladies who did respond to my question... Still absolutely unsure what to try... May end up getting neither as not into paying to return whichever doesn't fit....

Thanks

I have the Dream Jeannes capris and mine have never shrunk either. I only throw mine in the dryer after they are almost dry just to get the wrinkles out. I love the fit of the capris. I also ordered 3 pair of the dream jeannes that are coming up in August.

You can tell who the strong women are, they are the ones building each other up, instead of tearing each other down!

I don't understand...you said you need a 28" inseam but 28 1/2" will be too short? I'm 5'4" and always get the shorts. They slightly longer than I'd like but OK. I never wear heels. These pants wouldn't be any harder to hem than any jean. You have to have a machine that will go through several layers of fabric but that shouldn't be a problem unless it's being done with a toy. I could have them hemmed in 15 minutes. I machine wash and dry mine...the hand washing requirement is due to the crystals in the heart. I couldn't care less if it disappeared. I don't tuck.

Sorry you were confused, I said I AM a 28 inch inseam and due to my plus size I've found most other pants on QVC in short are TOO short once I put on even low to no heel shoes. Sadly I do not sew, but I have a wonderful seamtress. I do machine wash mine, but hang to dry, and yes I do understand the "hand wash" requirment is due to the crystals.

I'm 5'3", I like the average length because I like a longer length length jean. But I can wear the short length.
