with the free returns offered thru January(?) do you have to pay return shipping charges? Is return totally free ?

If it's defective it is free, if not it isn't free.

That is correct. QVC does return the cost you paid to have the order shipped to you, (some stores don't), but not your return postage unless the item is defective. Many stores are now offering free returns, but not QVC.

I bought the Earth Origins TSV last time they were on.

I ordered my regular size a 10wide and when I got them they were too big, but I did like the comfort and the look of my foot in them.

So I sent them back, for a 1/2 size smaller and they are out for delivery today.

BUT, QVC charged me $6.95 the cost of the return postage.

This is why I've stopped ordering shoes from QVC. The chance of them fitting and being comfortable is not great. The fact that they don't fit you does not make them defective.
