Last night I was watching Jane on her shoe shopping program. She was presenting a pair of shoes and made the comment that when she got off the air she was going to get a pair if they still had them in her size.

It was such a nice change of pace to hear that from a host instead of calling out to some unknown person to order them the item that is currently being presented. I know with many of the hosts it is a marketing ploy but I still find it an insult to the viewers.

I just wanted to give kudos to Jane for being so professional. I felt like I was watching the QVC I remembered from days gone by.

Whether she did get them later or not, at least it sounds more authentic. The shout out during the show sounds so fake.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

Though I appreciated the way Jane did it....I still felt it was a way to get people to purchase those shoes....she repeated it too many times to be real...

The hosts shopping forays and sales ploys don't bother me. Don't care what the order or when they order it...
