I am not a gardener at all, but I am really enjoying the Gardens Alive programs today. The guest, Felder, is a true gardener and full of knowledge. Love what he said earlier "Gardeners are the same everywhere - we dig holes in dirt and put things in them". Carolyn is truly loving the show and obviously has a great deal of respect for him. Thanks QVC.
I have been watching this show. When I first saw him I thought he looked like David Crosby, of Crosby, Still & Nash, lol.
I am enjoying this also.......but Carolyn just........shut the front door!
Watched the presentation on the "never been sold anywhere before" Canary Daylilies....Carolyn dear..........I have a whole bed of these in my backyard, and if they were blooming (in the late summer) I would take a picture and send it to you.
They do not have 70 buds on them......and I have had them for over 5 years in the garden...feed them, split them up, so on and so on.
These tall daylilies have been around forever.......one cultivar I have is from Autumn Minaret.
I totally understand the excitement with a new vendor, but please.
Be kind to dragons, for thou art crunchy and good with ketchup.
Great catalog. I've ordered lots of beneficial insects from them and have been pleased.
To the point about calling their plants "new", they might be new to the Q but many are not new to market. When I lived in AL, I had 10 of those dwarf lilacs, purchased about 5 years ago.
